No this is not too obvious for some, like me...

makes this kind of additional sense to me: Benny is tacking up condoms...like 
one might hang up a dead animal, so to speak? 

or something one was signifying the end of, again, so to speak?  

So, if condoms are hung up to dry out, then that might signify go do it and 
(risk) mutiplying....THAT Biblical injunction

and I will throw out----Norman Mailer was REAL BIG in his work on the risk of 
fucking, including baby-creating and
he was anti birth control...........

And, in his vision, maybe TRP is/was too?

In his Angel-of-Death routine, Benny "condemns" his victims to impregnate and be 
impregnated. One early critic (maybe even a reviewer or two) got all huffy about 
Profane's promoting sterility, missing the point of what putting thumbtacks 
through condoms does to their effectiveness.
