TRP consults on script of INHERENT VICE, now in 2nd draft

That's kind of cool. I wonder what the nature of the consultation is: fax, MJ's email, or direct conversations?

Having said that, I'm not really expecting to be awed or anything, but one (me) gets the impression that P is quite fond of these books defined as his minor work in contrasrinction to his negative thoughts on V, CL49, and even, at one point, GR if I'm recalling correctly. Nothing seems to have surfaced about his opinion of M&D and AtD.
