I do hope for the best, but, where the military is concerned, I do not
think the well-being of the people is foremost among government
concerns. It looks more like a coup shaping up. Mubarak moved off to a
cozy villa on the Red Sea, Suleiman in a puppet seat, and the
constitution be damned while the thugs step in. I think Mubarak
engineered the worst possible scenario for his departure.
