very private author Thomas Pynchon lived in the late sixties and early
seventies went under contract this weekend just four days after
hitting the market. The building, which last sold in 1991, was listed
last week with an asking price of $1.05 million. Come to think of it,
maybe a notoriously mischievous and secretive author is behind the
pending sale."
