what IJ does have - I'd go on at greater length about the lack of fun
if Mr Wallace was alive to kick around - is sympathetic characters.  I
quickly twigged that nothing very fun was going to happen, but the big
lug recovering from addiction and the young twerp screwing up his
great chances at the academy were both plenty simpatico and I couldn't
abandon them...
