Pivner, like so many, had not thought...so many had not ...has
measured out his travels above and underground in minutes not miles.
The emptying of thought that is common and apparent in the faces,
faces prepared perhaps, that he meets, even the mad one that cries
from some collective anxiety, that screams in worm-like contortions
from a subway car to bridge over burning canals, of some common but
foreign vacancy of lots where ancient women collect fuel or snap hat
bands at infinity and being and time or where the Wilsons reside under
the spectacles of an adevetisment-god, and the incineration plant is
champion... reminds me of an article about Rober Moses:
