Speaking of WG's reading and sources, I am in the process of sending
the beloved Webmistress of the Gaddis Annotations dozens of new &
revised annotations (mostly on The Recognitions) gleaned from my
recent week rummaging through the Gaddis archives at Washington Univ.
in St. Louis. I found his reading notes for a half dozen books new to
me, which will go along way toward eliminating most of the remaining
"source unknowns" in the annotations and clarifying many others. It
will take a while to get them all uploaded, but by the end of summer
the R annotations should be 99% complete.
