You may not know it, Jed, but as it happens, the p-list archives
do contain quite a few limericks too. Like this conciliatory poem
that surfaced on the list when the Limerick War went on:

"There is with us a bloke named Monroe
Who believes as above so below
With his new Bunsen Burner
He'll host Intro: Slow Learner
Situational relief tomor-row"


If memory serves, it was written by a wise and warmhearted p-list
member who contributed plenty in his time on the list.
