This might not or might be the case, fact remains, that this TRTR over
here does not much contribute to my Pynchon understanding. Neither did
the Pale Fire group-read way back when. But that wasn't so bad, since it
didn't take long, while you people wanna do TRTR till the end of the
world in - hehe - December 2012. And this although GR has definitely the
best goodbye song ever:
There is a Hand to turn the time,
Through the Glass today be run,
Till the Light that hath brought the Towers low
Find the last poor Pret'rite one ...
Till the Riders sleep by ev'ry road,
All through our crippl'd Zone,
With a face on ev'ry mountainside,
And a Soul in ev'ry stone .....
Now everybody---
