Yes.  GR deals with patterns, imagined or real, benign or malevolent,
etc...  Coincidence is an example, one type of pattern.

Another type has been called by Jung Synchronicity.  That would be an
example of Cosmic Coincidence, the meeting of random chance and
significance.  It does imply a force behind the visible scene.  That's
why Jung was/is so denigrated by those who reject that possibility
