My usual 'reading' of that song---but I'm an irony fan which anyone who likes
Pynchon might be
is of 'irony' of "it's all right, ma, I'm only bleeding".....
And that interview supports that, which I wixh I had seen...

I saw a Dylan interview where they asked him what made him write that
song, "It's All Good" and he simply said, "I heard that phrase one too
many times" or something like that
