Earlier during this rereading, I posted from a Trevor-Roper book of essays, some 
about
Weber's thesis considered historically and by country.

I remember stuff on the Jesuits in Spain, said to be sorta very like the 
Protestants in
the North in their cultural effects re the spirit of capitalism.

I noticed when I reread the Epilogue that TRP brings in the Jesuits 
historically, too...

Once he decided to do the research [Slow Learner], he did the research.
