last addition for me - of making many lists there is no end...:
if you want to tackle the most challenging first, then most people
would say, probably start with Gravity's Rainbow. and the only
other thing that I really feel the need to add is that there are 2
seances in GR that are really interesting, and the subject of the 2nd
is Walter Rathenau, whose assassination in 1922 may have been a key
factor in the failure of the Weimar Republic. He was an inspirational
as well as economic leader, and a Jew.
also supposed to have inspired a major character, Arnheim, in Robert
Musil's book The Man Without Qualities.
