Recognizing The Recognitions

You say this in a tone that sounds annoyed.  His "schooling" doesn't
bother me in the least.  At least it is moderately intelligible,
unlike other torrents of erudition that appear here now and then.  I
gave The Recognitions a try a few years ago, but quit less than
half-way in.  The parts that I found hard to swallow were his
descriptions and interactions of his NYC "whole sick crew."  I may
give it another try sometime...
