Which explain why the pursuit
of justice (for example) yields better results than either the pursuit
of violence or non-violence.

Hopefully not bin laden's "eye for an eye" justice (hmm. . maybe ours
though)

I admire the juxtaposition of the violence/non-violence statements but
disagree with conclusion.

When someone mentions "justice" I usually think they r evangelists speaking
of heaven.

The law is what we really have sometimes.

The law and. . .sigh. . that awful hideous concept. . the nation-state.

I believe bin laden did identify the us (a nation state) as "going
down[sic])"
Reuters

It would have been tense trying to convict and inject bin laden.

Reprecussions from prosecuting that guy would have resulted in many more
deaths

and we will see more protest suicide bombers but hopefully not soon
