no snark intended, it was just a straight up thought!  Swing on into
action if you want, I haven't prepared anything yet anyway.  this
novel's pretty mysterious to me.  If you don't want to that is ok too,
but it sounded like you might be hinting...

another topic:
I just read _Simple's Uncle Sam_ by Langston Hughes.  Weirdly enough,
the Simple character at one point sez, "People are saying there'll be
a black president in 2011"!  That sent me for a loop, reading it in
2011 with Obama in the White House!
