I read The Recognitions almost every morning early. One can live in it, hard 
(emotionally) as that is,
and one laughs and one could write something about every page---I don't mean 
annotation or even
exegesis but something like Zak Smith's art for every page of GR.....just 
connections with life, my
own, those I've known, the life in America i live in and have.........
