What Hath God Roth?

If the implication is that Roth is bad Bellow, well no. But by all means read the books listed below.


My favorite Roth is The Counterlife, but also The Ghost Writer, Zuckerman Unbound,and  the Anantomy Lesson (and if you can find it, all three plus the novella The Prague Orgy, were published in trade paperback as Zuckerman Bound).  A great steal, much like Three by Flannery O'Conner).
