Why was the guy who espoused "Slim Prestige Volumes" in a reading group
dedicated to long and difficult novels? He's another person who doesn't get
that "Gravity's Rainbow" is really fun and funny. And I have howled at the
top of mountains (just 14'ers, not Everest) just for the cool echo effects.
