But this land is our land. I got a right to walk to work or drive my
car, even my obnoxious gold hummer, out of my garage and into the
streets without people laying down in the road while others spit on my
mirrors and key my fenders and call me a pig. The city is small and
congested. Wall Street is always crowded and I like it that way, but
people don't have the right to set up tents and camp out on the
sidewalks if it means shitting on my stoop and pissing in my mailbox.
There is a reasonable way to protest and got a message out there and I
do understand that militants and fringe maniacs and crazed people are
attracted, that some bad behavior is planted, that some of this is
unavoidable in a functioning democracy. But to claim that the street
or property rights are valued over human rights is just bull shit
propaganda. People got to get real about this and stop spounting off
with slogans that vent and veer off into a vote for the wrong
candidate. We will will. O will win it, but those who now hate him or
view him as coopted and corrupt are foolish and naive. Politics aint
your own private game; it takes compromise and courage and O has shown
guts again and again. And Hilary is my hero heroine. I love what she
said after the Arab Spring radicals said she was a negative force in
their revolution. I do so love the piece in the girls in the Obama
administration and how they have been leading with their behinds.
