nice to see this point made.......
And i will say: anarchy, libertariansim, personal freedom, all very key thematic ideas in P, we might agree...
I think P is pretty careful to keep his ...anarchism in the social, societal vein......
Not in the economic...................
But, I'd welcome disagreement.
(I say this because of the lifelong anti-money strain in his work---"Shit, Money & the Word"

Subject: Oedipa and Anarchism
Anarchism has more than a couple of strains. It is hardly a Leftist proposition. It is self-organizing complexity as propounded by Friedrich Hayek, Aimee Semple McPherson, Ayn Rand and her star pupil Alan Greenspan, much if not all of Libertarian Silicon Valley, the cypherpunks list, Ron Paul and so on. To me, a belief in the invisible hand is a belief in a manifestation of Maxwell's Demon. Oedipa Mass fits right in.
I'm a big fan of markets however.
