Re: the Wall Street protesters - No, they don't have any specific program or list of demands, but at least they've wormed their way into the public consciousness, where, like a splinter in one's thumb, maybe they'll goad us to do something. Mass protests like the ones in Tunisia and Egypt can't be organized or planned - they can only happen spontaneously. OccupyWallStreet is unlikely to develop into a mass movement on its own, but it could be part of the slow build-up to a real mass movement - the kind that's out of control, teetering between rioting and informed protest - that the powers-that-be will have to deal with.
The best thing about the Wall Street protesters is that they're an embarrassment to the surrounding banks and brokers and realtors. What to do, what to do? Clear them out with riot gear, evoking worldwide condemnation? Or allow the steadfast few to stay for ages, martyring themselves in the snow. As is, they're becoming a destination (isn't that what happens to the Chums of Chance?) for tourists and celebs.
