What's with the price of Inherent Vice on Amazon?

I see the p&h gaffing on ABE, $0.20 book and $7 p&h but don't get it on
Amazon where the postage is fixed by them. I think they give the seller a $4
allowance to deliver the book, which, even with MEDIA MAIL is packaging time
and materials, plus postage costs around $3 (no?) and then time at the Post
Office plus, dammit, fuel.

I remain shocked, though, that such a classy hardcover with DJ would be
available by the HUNDREDS at less than $1.00

Tina Fay's new book is pulling something like $15 used at Amazon.

I hope she's not on the Nobel list, too!!
