This is nonsense. S&P is under attack, and some of it is justified.
Afterall, S&P and the other rating agencies were complicit in the
great recession bubble, but S&P is right on UST debt. UST is no longer
a perfect credit.

AA+ is still a very good credit and given the liquidity of UST, and
the history, and the population that can be taxed and so on, the UST
at AA+ is a fair rating.

I might still give it AAA, but only because I like Ben; he, tomy mind,
is a great man. May the gods bless him.
