Does anyone still seriously apply models to problems like these? How
silly! The Canada model works for Canada because it is Canada. Just as
Finland's education model works for Finland. Imagine what would happen
if the USA adopted the Finland model of education. So kids start
school at 7 instead of 3. I'm a poor kid from the Bronx; I'll keep my
Headstart, thank you very much. And, while it is pretty cool tha the 7
year olds in Finland don't wear shoes in school, this wouldn't work in
the USA where sneakers make the kid. Anyway, Canada looks good now.
Next to USA, it looks great right now. Although it probably has too
much leveraged real estate. But Canada lloks good like Finland looks
good on test score comparisons. Like the grass over the ceptic tank
looks good, green lush, strong, until you try to dig it up and move
it elsewhere. Can the USA learn from the Canada model? Sure, Japan
learned from the US model and had some great success. Looking back at
Japan Inc., we can see that Japan was a "catch up" model and never an
economy based on an American model. Some things it took from the
American model worked better in Japan because Japan is Japan. Canada
ghas only 30 million odd people. So it's a super model. The USA has
350 million. So it's the friont line of the Green Bay Packers.

Brazil is young and restless and not bored; people still sleep and
fuck in the back seats of American cars in Brazil. Right, they have a
huge stock market. I'm buying the hell out of it, btw. EWZ! Buy it.
