here is a little test, voluntary of course, of whether ya might want to read
and gloss Murakami's new one on this list...
 
Read the "Town of Cats" excerpt of 1Q84 which ran recently in The New Yorker and
see if our Golden Bough discussion and even a famous line from C of L49 illuminates it with pleasure
for you........................
 
And, I don't mean nuthin' 'bout cats....whose meanings seem manifold and might be fun to work at
at least once.................
