Oh heck no. I suppose the narrator is Dick Hill - he takes some getting used to but then after awhile he's perfect. He does a great job on some of the Chums - (like Counterfly yelling, "Suck-ling!").
You might want to keep your book propped so you can "reread" little sections. Wth a book you just skip your eyes back but with a recording it's not so easy. Also, when I listen and read I sometimes mark the book with the place time of the recording - like at Chapter 3 I might write Part 1- 3hrs 22m - just in case I want to go back there.
