'refusing to collude' in their fiction discussions.  
 
Wm Gass: "The Pulitzer takes direct aim at mediocrity and seldom misses"...
Once again.
 
After 10 wins, No Award barred from competing again.
 
I predict this year's Pulitzer for fiction will soon be forgotten.
