And in the other YouTube, there is a fine 'warmth of married love' moment as he and Vera
are playing a quick game of chess and she musta played a not-too-good move (or more likely a couple)
too fast and he sez: "C'mon", full of chiding acceptance.............
He could be Yashmeen here, chiding Cyprian affectionately......[not Vlado, never]

I watched two YouTube clips of Nabokov footnoted in the Bely Petersburg wikipedia entries....
One, where he comments on some words......"humility, what a word!" [or something] he says, almost chuckling, with
that self-confidence which some might call anti-humility, is priceless.......
