I sure hope Grass, at his age, and perhaps suffering from dementia,
has better things to concern himself with than what the idiots in what
some still think the Press do to entertain people and keep them
plugged into the iidiot boxes. The negotiations with Iran, like those
with North Korea, are not covered by the so-called press or the sound
bites of politicians running for elections. Jeeez, I do hope Grass,
author of great fiction and bad poetry, a man who has dedicated much
of his time to politics, is not so foolish. Dementia might explain it.
One would expect that Grass is as tuned into the sounds of the NPT
revisions and, even at his foolish old age, can tune out the saber
rattleings in the common tabloids. Red lines and lines in the sand are
propaganda, all is phoney out on delolation row.
