I checked amazon and you are quoting correctly, that source does say 'under'
All other sources I've seen say it was a graduate program.
I can't see why they would deny him admission to an undergraduate
program - he would have had transfer credits in math from Cornell far
beyond what they would ask of an incoming freshperson...
colleges (to the best of my knowledge) have only recently become
reluctant to let people take a 2nd or 3rd undergraduate degree and
even now they only express that reluctance by charging more...
