I read it this way. Cyp and Yashmeen are living (at that point) in a
disjoint part of a fictionalised reality, where there is no map. The
distinction between representation and reality consequently blurs. Their
map and real coordinates concur, but there's no indication of the narrative
plane they inhabit. Lost *and* found. One-to-one in mathspeak means a
direct relation between two sets
