I was puzzled when watching the Three Stooges Feature, "Disorder in the
Court", when Larry peals out the phrase, "Sold, American!"

i wondered, "is that a thing? (a known phrase?)"



After savoring the mystery of it for several years, i finally looked it
up.  It is!
