Pynchon & mayonnaise? Why?

that's funny, I think he's gotten better.
he's never been my favorite, and i disdained the central trope of cowgirls
(it just bothered me...even worse when they made an attempt at a
movie...those outsize thumbs...)

but i rather like the one with the bowling alley,
and the other one with the jew and arab who open a restaurant,
and the one about the cia guy
and isn't there one where a guy eats a lot of bamboo shoots or something?

honestly, i thought they were all quite fun and better than a lot of lit
that  people rave about is
