This is the site referred to - Salon makes it sound more interesting than it is - it sounds VERY interesting but I think it's just barely beginning -  I didn't find much.  The project might prove too much for them (jmo).   The Pynchon section is pathetic (2 books?!?)  and one little passage from Men and Cartoons by Jonathan Letham plus another one from Neil Gaiman's American Gods.   The Gaiman book has a lot more stuff about it,  but perhaps I don't quite know how the whole thing works.
