I was in shock and sadness most of the weekend and just probably watched too much of the coverage.   But this morning (or last night) on hearing that all these fool people can't or won't pass sensible gun legislation I'm more angry than anything.   It seems as though we,  the US,  various states and communities and so on,  are condoning this kind of thing by not doing something about the automatic assault weapons at least.   And more than that - I'm beginning to believe there is a certain nurturing of the gun mentality what with all the violent movies,  computer /video games,  toys,  etc.  on the market getting huge audiences.   If this continues I can only think we deserve the next little shooting spree.
