it is in the air and water....my 4yo grandson wants to play, about every visit, 'attack' time....comes at me Ninja turtle--superhero-like....
over and over....pummels and kicks...........why?.....energy, need to feel strong? in the air?......the being superhero-like seems almost
inborn????....."what means 'seems"?, says Hamlet (or someone)......you get the point.......
 
Way back, when my kids were being raised, I tried, without guns, etc.....I read about a boy of REAL countercultural parents, commune maybe and his kids fascination with....knives, the blades?????/

David, Thanks for the article. I have two boys who are hunting/fishing nuts. I don't know why exactly. Other than taking them fishing, I haven't encouraged this. My nine year old asked for an AK-47 air soft gun for Christmas. Right. Then they want an X-Box so they can play Black Ops. It's in the air and the water. What to do?
