Same. I suspected PTA was a fan as far back as Magnolia, when that kid
delivers a cryptic report as to the location of a policeman's lost gun
via a freestyle rap that sounds like Revelations. I think it was the
reference to the Wyrm therein that made me think of Pynchon, since M&D
had come out a little earlier, and when I made the association it just
seemed to stick.
