NP but Janis Ian, black as night and other misc. stuff

lived in Lakewood ,New Jersey for a time of her youth.

A..and she was molested by a dentist as a girl...his particular evil was to get her to tell him
she 'liked' his hands groping, stroking her, a lot, which would excite him to go jerk off in the bathroom. 
"then he did something that still makes my stomach turn over. He held the big drill over my molar, and told
me I was now going to see whatr happened to disobedient girls. The part of me in The Waiting Room [she
self-dissociated via his original 'help' before this] was going to feel everything, just like always, but this I'd 
feel it, too. Then he plowed into that molar like there was no tomorrow."
 
I wonder if she read V.? She was/is a voracious reader; an adult librarian used her card to check out books 
fast enough for her when she was young. She is a member of the Women's Nat Book Association even now
in Nashville where she lives.....
