AtD: Lew,a moral center

Okay, we seem to differ on the ultimate meaning(s) of GR (as well, probably,
as AtD). Way it is.

Bloom thinks Measure for Measure is ultimately a dark play
pushing nihilism; others think it is profoundly moral but differ so much on
the meanings.

I think the moral meanings of AtD are worth exploring closely: are full of some themes perhaps not
in GR?---or certainly shaped and filled-in differently--- even if GR does them best
and is the best.

Right.  But his moral readings are best in GR where they are most
abstract, psychedelically multi-layered, and **unresolved**.  GR (for
me) is about the deep nature of human consciousness.  Politics and
power aren't the real issues, just symptoms.  Also, (like I think
Terrance asserted quite a while ago) there is a deep level of
religious "concern" (my term) in GR:  Is reality full of real or
imagined messages from some higher creation.  Some call this GR's
Gnossis.
