boy I would love to be young enough to be able to have read Infinite
Jest before Gravity's Rainbow.
not that I think that's the right order, just that I would like to be
young again.
FWIW I read GR first in high school and my takeaways were: bananas!
ejaculate can reveal hidden messages! some people eat shit!
in short, I loved it without any kind of any depth of understanding.
boy was I knocked off my feet though when I got to (east coast)
college and my first week i was taught how to play "Wales Tails."
it was a real thing.
