Short Cuts: Hanging with Pynchon

Has anyone seen an essay about hanging out with Pynchon and Farina in Cornell by a woman who reminisces that she never saw any drugs at school during the period but thought she might have missed something when she read "Been Down So Long. . ." but felt relieved when she read P's intro that there was more jokes about than access to drugs during his Cornell days?
