Mapping AtD

I know that such a thing exists for Infinite Jest, but mapping the
character peregrinations and plot development.

You could draw it out on a printed map (with some scale; I assume you want
to map character movements on a world map, yes?), and then use some kind of
graphics software to put in the lines.
But I think a more interesting way would be to use Prezi (http://prezi.com/).
I think the first step would be to find a vector graphics map of earth, so
that you don't get pixellation, and you can put in notes and lines, and
zoom in and around touchscreen style.
