Can you NOT think of the ending of GR?

Would anyone care to explain to the people of this ever-enchanted syndrome,
who are under, say, 65 years, what a Terrance is?

The Oracle I've noticed occasionally hands out these readings, and I find
them obscure, yet heavy with portent.

Is it a white whale, spouting thick blood?  What does a Terrance mean?
 What is the Oracle indicating?  There must be a reason why we have been
given the message:  "Terrance".
