Lauren Collins at The New Yorker writes this:

On one of the John Larroquette TV shows in the 90s in which Pynchon, sic, was a topic/theme, Larroquette said (as part of the show; we know he
was in touch with TRP directly or thru Ms. Jackson) that the new book TRP was working on was called Pandemonium of the Sun.
