What is great about this is that it doesn't deter scientists *at all*.
Humans have obviously evolved the power to make multiple uses of each
gene. Genes can, and do, explain everything, guaranteed, you just gotta
divide them first, divide then multiply. Just don't ask the scientists how
that might be the case, how it might work.
What's so great, so powerful about the idea of evolution is that it can
explain everything. Problems with your marriage? It's evolving. Getting
divorced? You've evolved. Kids hate you? They're evolving. Trouble
finishing your novel? It's evolving.
