quoth Mark --
"a hunter arrived at last, a trainer of
desert eagles, to unmask against her soul, the predatory descent that
would seize her, fetch her away,
fetch her back, held fast in the talons of communion, blood, destiny,
to be plucked off the defective
Reimann sphere she had been taking for everything that was"
a little close reading -
a hunter arrived *at last* (it's like, hey, this is what she's been
waiting for all this time)
a trainer of desert eagles (why desert eagles?)
to unmask against her soul (*against* like against the day, against
the backdrop of her soul, like maybe her soul is a vasty expanse
around her self like the desert sky - sort of getting into the concept
of the soul as all the non-material parts of a person, not just
wishes and desires but all the times and places one has been or might
be going, thoughts, abilities, the soul this huge expanse of stuff not
limited by the confines of the body, but rather a huge expanse like
the desert sky (do I repeat myself? very well, I repeat myself...I am
a vasty soul and I contain redundancies...) which the eagle is
unmasked against
and thus the eagle, after being unmasked against it, would discern the
physical form within that landandskyscape as a human form - not as I
was thinking a lowly vole or hmm not even a rattlesnake like in the
mural in the pub where Frank shoots Sloat...
but as a human form to be carried off - this is one puissant eagle -
perhaps even a roc like in Sinbad
(a-and Reef does the eagle roc with style and grace, having actually
balled that jack* under the mountain pass in der Schweiz)
fetch her back (like as if she had been truant or escaped from the seraglio)
held fast in the talons of communion, blood, destiny --- (resistance
is futile)(lex talionis)
to be plucked off the defective Riemann sphere she had been taking for
everything that was (not just "defective Riemann sphere" because she
had imperfectly conceived it due to all the distractions, but also a
sphere with a Riemannian defect, not a simple ball that could be
fabricated in any normal factory or tossed in any normal kind of game
but a weird-butt entity that was as yet only being talked about)
-- balln' the jack --
Now, first, you put your two knees close up tight,
then you sway 'em to the left, and you sway 'em to the right.
Step around the floor kinda nice
and light then you twist around and twist around with all of your might.
Stretch your lovin' arms straight out in space,
then you do the Eagle Rock with style and grace.
Swing your foot way 'round and bring it back,
now that's what I call Ballin' the Jack
