NP - Krugman takes on British Austerity Hawks

Eight minutes in the MP said to Krugman yes but don't you think it's a
better idea to cut corporate taxes.  And Krugman said no, there's
insufficient demand.

The reason why the right, or in this case the conservatives, can get on
with doing as they do is because no one can believe is the case what
Krugman keeps pointing out, that they simply want to destroy social
programs.  And it's so easy for the right to deny that they do, and make
anyone suggesting as much seem terrible.

They're just trying to help, and it makes no sense to increase debt to get
us out of debt.
