The Angel of Death here is a soldier's dream girl...'the hearth in a home grown impossibly
distant, who promised unvoiceably carnal delights"...while preparing to carry his spirit
to shores "unvoiceably far beyond the sunset"...

TRP playing with the sex & death motif?...playing it as straight farce? 

"that false compassion which is the essence of the A.O. Death trade" sez the sculptor.
