It appears that there is some interest in Prometheus; I'm interested in it
now because it was about thirty seconds after I mentioned shem on this
thing last week that I discovered a film of such pretentions (why is google
red underlining that word (*and* google itself, how pretentious) is or was
just about to open.  And nobody seems to be taking sufficient interest
beyond bashing it, which is to say nobody'll bother moving their rotund ass
to check it out.  Including me.  I had no interest in even bashing its god
damn brains in (who, once, did that *New Republic* fellow threaten that
phrase with).  But I do have this internet account.  There's this group of
Russians, probably St. Petites, St. Peties, Peteys, who have state of art
equipment, they are the first people in line to the first showing of all
the mainstream films and they slide their cousin Dmitri some vodka on the
way into the theatre and he let's them set up their gear front row center
and within a few hours the film's uploaded to this site whereupon I
download.  I watched around 30.05 of it yesterday.  Not sure if I care to
go anymore.  The good looking scientist is reminding me of somebody from
Inception which is fine because that's a fucking fine film but I'm not sure
*that's* the guy the scientist is reminding me of.  Anyway I will if you
will.  I can give you my passcode and we can all watch it together and
commentary.  I can tell you, the cyborg's fascination with Lawrence Arabia
is rather curious....

But you have to swear not to download anything besides that.  That would be
*egregious.*
